Taylor started her YouTube career by recording ASMR videos with her mobile phone. PewDiePie was her star in a gaming video shortly after reaching the 50,000th subscriber. The video was uploaded about 1 1/2 months after the release of her first YouTube video. Taylor stopped creating videos at approximately two months after she had close to 100 000 subscribers. She put all her videos into private because of technical problems with the new hardware. After taking a time off for a month, she began producing new videos. Taylor made her popular ASMR 10 triggers that assist you in sleeping (35 millions views in august 2022). In July 2017, she posted another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers To Help You sleep (38 million views by August 2022). In August 2017, she was interviewed in Shane Dawson's video, and soon afterward, hit one million YouTube viewers. Wired UK calculated that she was earning $1,000 a daily on her YouTube channel in February of 2019.

Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. Her birthplace was in Donalda, Alberta, Canada. Her parents are Elaine and Dennis Helfer. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. Her sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her at the farm where she worked on her grain. When she was 17 a modeling scout of an agency came across Helfer while waiting at the front of a line for entry into a movie.
